Black Jade Journal
Revealing new chapters in the African Diaspora
Welcome to Black Jade Journal. An on-line Afrocentric journal dedicated to the study of African peoples in ancient and modern Asia. The history of Blacks in Asia is a fascinating saga which spans a period of 50,000 years. This journal provides scholarly research backed by solid documentation. It seeks to bring to the public a forgotten chapter of world history. As you will see, the African presence in Asia played a pivotal role in the making of Asian cultural traditions. It is my hope this site will educate the public about a relatively unknown chapter in man's history.
